The second wave of Corona Virus has brought the world to its knees and has yet again created an international pandemic emergency situation. With the spread of the Corona Virus, many families are stuck inside their homes and hospital wards that too sick and quarantined. The second wave of COVID pandemic in India has unleashed an unprecedented public health crisis caused due to the large-scale spread of COVID infection in all parts of the country. According to the news reports, the past few days have seen more than 400,000 cases and nearly 3500 covid related deaths in different parts of the country. The health system, particularly in the large cities and urban areas, is overwhelmed by the incessant stream of COVID patients seeking medical assistance and supplemental oxygen.

Marasim Charitable Foundation (MCF) is trying to help the families struck by the pandemic by offering food and medical services in this time of distress. People from all across the country are coming forward to help and we are not far behind.

In this context, MCF has launched the # Donate For Covid-19 Relief Fund initiative which seeks to directly support nearly 200,000 COVID-affected families in the coming three months (till August  2021).

The Project will focus on the following actions:

• Food aid: To support poor and vulnerable families affected by the COVID with food baskets to ensure food and nutrition security. 
• Providing Cooked Food & Ration for Needy
• Providing free of cost oxygen cylinders
• Providing Masks and medicine
• Providing Hydraulic beds to patients
• Sanitizing areas that are most vulnerable
• Protection for COVID warriors. MCF aims to support doctors, nurses, frontline health workers, police personnel, sanitation, and other workers with personal protective equipment (PPE) to enable them to continue delivering services to COVID patients.
