Marasim is dedicated to improve the quality of education in small schools and madarsa’s in India. We have large scale plans to provide education to children in the slums of Mumbai and other parts across the country and Grow in both scope and scale, with programs which reach children and youth across the country.
As one of the best non-governmental organizations in the country, Marasim focuses on high-quality, low-cost and replicable education and vocational trainings programs to Work directly with children and youth as well as collaborations with existing needy schools and madarsa’s.
Marasim helps in identifying the most vulnerable children in the poorest areas of India. Due to unaccessibility and poverty, children miss out on school. Marasim helps enrol children in school. Children who have dropped out and missed few years of schooling, Marasim also provides them with gap classes which help them get enrolled in their age-appropriate grade
Computer Education , Digital Initiatives In Schools And Madarsa’s
To provide basic and advance level computer education .Digital devices and content is placed directly in the hands of children providing them with opportunities and choices to learn in their schools, madarsa’s and institutions. children’s and youth groups are guided by the coaches and youth members in the communities.
The Computer Education program aims to enable children and youth to prepare for school, work, and life. The program has been designed on the premise that children and youth can be motivated to learn basic and advance level of computer education for their better future and cope up with others in society.
Vocational TrainingMarasim objective is to train people from economically disadvantaged backgrounds and provide them with employable skills, coupled with access to employment and entrepreneurship opportunities.
Our Various programs across the country will enable them to access entry-level positions and placements in major vocations. Approximately 500 people are targeted for year 2021- 2022, and will be trained and subsequently placed in entry level jobs or helped to start their own businesses.
Marasim conducts short-term, often with tie up partners who provide courses of 2 to 3 months in duration, focusing on young men and women from rural areas and urban slums. The model is based on strong industry linkages and youth counselling and focuses on hands-on skills training. Courses taught include construction (including electrical, plumbing, masonry and welding), hospitality (housekeeping, food and beverage service and food production), automotive mechanic, healthcare nursing and beauty and wellness services. In addition to industry specific skills, students also learn basic English, computer literacy and life skills.

Everyday a huge number of poor face an everyday struggle for food, water and lodging. Majority of them remain in critical deficit of nutrtion. They have very limited funds . Food that is hygienic and nutritious and other basic necessities become a luxury for them
Lacs of poor spend harsh winter or cruel summer on streets. These people remain malnourished, with lack of access to basic necessities, such as food, water and clothes. They always remain exposed to extreme weather conditions – heat or cold. They always work through extremely harsh hot afternoons without assured access to water, food and shelter. The summer heat aggravates their fragile physical condition. Failing to cope up with intense heat & cold and it’s ill-effects, the number of deaths of such people is rising at an alarming rate.
As a society we face a lot of social problems today, but sadly we don’t have enough listeners. We feel there are a lot of people crying out for our help. In our capacity, we are trying our bit to support some of them and will continue to do so.
Hygiene & Dignity Kit
Women have been fighting for dignity for centuries now and this fight is far from over. This fight cuts across boundaries, age groups, cultures and societal status. Spare a moment and think about the plight of homeless women. The insecurity, stigma, illness, humiliation, health issues, physical abuse etc. the struggle is endless.
We at Marasim have witnessed these struggles homeless women go through with close quarters. While efforts are being taken to provide safe shelters to this section, we cannot shy away from our responsibilities. There is a need to treat planet Earth as our home and all humans sharing this space as our own.
Let us strive to improve the lives of homeless women by creating a safe and secure environment for them. We advocate for a dignified life for every women, every child and every family. We are making Hygiene and Dignity Kits for Women.

Clean Water, Decent Toilets And Good Hygiene
In India, billions of people face a daily struggle to access clean water close at home . They have no choice but to drink dirty water.They also lack enough for washing, cooking, cleaning and production of food. As a result, they get sick, and their education and livelihoods suffer. Marasim aims for long-lasting solutions to make clean water accessible for everyone, everywhere and maintain standards of clean water, sanitation on and health care.
We all need clean water to wash our hands, keep our homes and hospitals clean and protect against COVID-19. But many people struggle to access this vital resource which puts them at risk.
We partner with slums ,rural and underserved communities, where there are high incidences of waterborne diseases and a scarcity of aid. Together, we establish comprehensive safe water solutions that include the essential tools and education to serve all community members.
We provide Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) education and capacity building programs, training other organizations to accelerate access to safe water and sanitation for all. We monitor every project and program delivered, to ensure effectiveness and sustainability.
